First things first, let me introduce myself. I'm Katie, the mastermind (or maybe just the chief mischief-maker) behind this eclectic group of individuals who believe that life is meant to be lived to the fullest. Whether you're new in town, looking to expand your social circle, or just eager to try new things, you've come to the right place.
So, what exactly is Knox Social Club, you ask? Well, think of us as your personal squad of fun enthusiasts, always on the lookout for the next adventure. From spontaneous brunch outings to epic game nights, and everything in between, there's never a dull moment when you're part of our crew.
How did it get started? I was watching a Netflix original show called Love On The Spectrum! On a few of the episodes they sent individuals on the autism spectrum to speed dating events to help them meet new potential partners on the quest to find love. I had an "Aha Lightbulb" moment! I love love. I always have. I love romantic comedies, being a wing woman, and even the occasional guilty pleasure dating focused reality tv show. Knox Social Club was original called Knox Speed Dating. I changed it when I expanded my events to include what I now refer to as "speed friending" events and themed social events.
One of the things I love most about our growing group is its diversity. We come from all walks of life – students, professionals, artists, and everything in between. But despite our differences, we're united by one common goal: to have a blast and forge meaningful connections along the way.
But it's not just about the activities (although we do have some pretty epic ones planned). It's about the friendships and relationships that blossom when you're surrounded by like-minded people who share your zest for life. Whether we're swapping stories over cocktails or embarking on a weekend hiking trip, there's always plenty of laughter and camaraderie to go around.
